Conclusion
It is important to know the history of ourselves and of our surroundings; in this case the history of Concord Lodge. By knowing the history, we can understand who we are and why certain matters are important. We can learn from the history of the Lodge but we must not live in the past.
Yesterday is gone and we have a sacred trust with those who have passed before us to ensure that Concord #124 continues to be a viable dynamic Lodge for the next seventy five years.
This will not "just happen" but will require dedication and hard work by all brethren. The prize is the knowledge that you have succeeded in carrying the ideals of Freemasonry into practice and ensured that future generations may benefit from the principles of the Craft.
Let us remember the first seventy five with pleasure and pride.
Let us anticipate the second seventy five with hope and determination.
